Masters in Social Work acquired in May 2015. BA major in Social Work obtained in 2003. My experience includes intervention with family and children in a variety of settings, including home based programs, community centers, hospitals, courts and school settings. Furthermore, my expertise is in Parenting Skills Training and Domestic Violence support groups for Spanish population. Furthermore, I had experience in the medical setting with HIV/AIDS patients. I have acquired field experiences including individual/ family counseling techniques and advocacy strategies, which enable me to effectively support clients in diverse settings. I am certified in EMDR. I am specialist in Trauma Informed Care. I have plenty of experience in Domestic Violence and/or Immigration issues cases. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA). I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida.
